This twist on classic spaghetti Bolognese is a winner! Penne replaces spaghetti, and the ragu is packed with tender ground beef and tons of flavour. Topped with crispy bacon and fresh olive tapenade, this dish will have everyone coming back for seconds! If you've opted to add bacon, before starting, prepheat oven to 450°F.
Arrange bacon strips in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast bacon in the middle of the oven for 8-12 min, until crispy and cooked through.**
Roughly chop bacon. Sprinkle bacon and remaining Parmesan over top.
