Preparation

Form patties

  • Before starting, preheat the oven to 450˚F.
  • Remove 2 tbsp (4 tbsp) butter from the fridge and set aside to come up to room temperature.
  • Wash and dry all produce.
  • To a medium bowl, add turkey, breadcrumbs, half the Zesty Garlic Blend and 1/8 tsp (1/4 tsp) salt. Season with pepper, then combine. 
  • Using damp hands, shape mixture into 2 (4) equal-sized rectangular patties. (TIP: When forming the patties, try to match the shape of the buns.)

Cook patties

  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium.
  • When hot, add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil and patties. (NOTE: Don't crowd the pan; cook patties in 2 batches if needed.) Pan-fry 3-5 min per side, until cooked through.**
  • Remove from heat.
  • Transfer to a plate, then cover to keep warm.

Prep and toast buns

  • Meanwhile, halve buns. On an unlined baking sheet, arrange buns, cut-sides up. 
  • Spread butter onto cut sides.
  • Toast buns in the middle of the oven for 3-4 min, until golden. (TIP: Keep an eye on buns so they don't burn!)

Make dressing

  • In a large bowl, whisk together half the vinegar, 1/2 tsp (1 tsp) sugar and 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Make sauce

  • Reheat the same pan (from step 2) over medium-high
  • When hot, add marinara sauce, remaining vinegar, remaining Zesty Garlic Blend and 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) water. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring occasionally, until sauce is warmed through.
  • Add patties. Cook for 1-2 min, flipping once or twice, until patties are well coated.
  • Remove from heat.

Finish and serve

  • Stack patties and some sauce on bottom buns.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan over top and return to the oven.
  • Bake in the bottom of the oven for 2-3 min, until cheese is melted and buns are golden. Close sandwiches with top buns.
  • Meanwhile, to the bowl with dressing (from step 4), add spinach. Toss to coat. 
  • Divide sandwiches and salad between plates.
  • Sprinkle seed blend over salad.
