This family-favourite dinner is inspired by a restaurant classic. The kids won't even mind the wholesome veggies when they're tossed in all that velvety sauce. Protein Plus (50 g protein or more) is based on a per serving calculation of the recipe's protein amount. Preparation

Cook bacon

  • Before starting, wash and dry all produce.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high (use same for 4 servings).
  • Meanwhile, heat a large non-stick pan over medium. 
  • When hot, add bacon. Cook for 5-7 min, flipping often, until crispy.** Remove from heat. Using tongs, transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Set aside. Reserve residual fat in the pan.

Prep tomatoes and turkey

  • Meanwhile, halve tomatoes.
  • Peel, then mince or grate garlic.
  • Pat turkey dry with paper towels. On a separate cutting board, cut turkey into 1-inch pieces. Season with salt, pepper and half the Zesty Garlic Blend.

Cook turkey

  • Reheat the pan with residual bacon fat over medium-high.
  • Add turkey. Cook for 3-4 min per side, until golden. (NOTE: It's okay if turkey doesn't cook all the way through in this step.)

Make creamy sauce

  • To the pan with turkey, add garlic and Cream Sauce Spice Blend. Cook for 30 sec, stirring often, until turkey is coated.
  • Add tomtaoes, peas, cream cheese, broth concentrate, cream, remaining Zesty Garlic Blend and 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) water. Bring to a gentle boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat to medium. Cook for 4-6 min, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly and turkey is cooked through.**

Cook linguine

  • To the boiling water, add linguine. Cook for 2-4 min, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite. 
  • Reserve 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) pasta water.
  • Strain linguine, then return to the pot, off heat.

Finish and serve

  • To the pot with linguine, add creamy sauce mixture, spinach, reserved pasta water and half the Parmesan.
  • Toss to combine for 1-2 min, until spinach wilts. Season with salt and pepper, if you like.
  • Divide creamy turkey linguine between plates. 
  • Crumble bacon over top.
  • Sprinkle remaining Parmesan over top.
