If you've opted to add chicken breast tenders, while tofu cooks, pat dry with paper towels, then cut into 1-inch pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the same pan (from step 2) over medium. When hot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil, then chicken. Pan-fry for 3-4 min per one side, until golden and cooked through.** Transfer chicken to the same plate as tofu. Use the same pan to cook veggies in step 4.
